All of us here at Envest are proud to announce our newest partnership with the Rural Agency for Development(Rafode) headquartered in Kisumu, Kenya.
Rafode is an incredible partner with a strong social mission serving the most impoverished and underserved borrowers in the southwestern part of the country. It provides micro-business loans as well as loans for home solar energy, more efficient cooking equipment, school fees, emergency situations, and agricultural businesses.
Long-time Envest employee, Laura Dreese, and our new East Africa Representative, Caro Duks, visited Rafode in late July of this year and were immediately impressed with the attention to detail, personalized approach with borrowers, and stellar management team at the organization. We are proud to be a part of the impact that Rafode is having in their community and excited to be a part of their continued growth in the region.
