Team Updates – Summer 2026

Lili Tangwall
Lili Tangwall left the Envest team at the end of March 2026. Lili was the Director of Marketing for three years. During her tenure at Envest, she developed the website further and produced more frequent newsletters. Among her many contributions, Lili produced this video for Envest’s 20th anniversary celebration. We wish Lili the very best in her future endeavors.
Sarah Rao
Sarah Rao returned to the Envest team in May 2026 to lead the marketing effort. Sarah (then Sarah Odden) served as Director of Investments at Envest from 2020 to 2024. While pursuing other interests, she served on the Envest Advisory Board and the Investment Committee for Envest Plus. We are delighted to have Sarah’s energy and vision on the team once again.
Devika Mathur
Devika Mathur joined the Envest team during the summer of 2026 as an intern. Devika is a sophomore at Georgetown University majoring in International Economics and Global Development. She became interested in microfinance during an internship in high school and hopes to be part of its expansion to serve those who still do not have access to credit. She works with the team on financial evaluations of Envest partner MFIs and preparation of loan recommendations. It is a pleasure to have Devika work with us this summer.
