IDER CV (Instituto de Desarrollo Regional “Cesar Vallejo”) provides credit, health outreach and rural development resources to residents in and around Trujillo, Peru. Its mission is to improve the social and economic conditions of excluded residents in the six provinces of Peru in which it operates. In conjunction with credit services, IDER offers educational training for women that teach the skills needed to start a business or to improve the productivity of an existing business.
The majority of IDER’s portfolio is lent for housing (50%) and small and micro businesses (41%) with a minority lent for consumer purchases (6%) and agriculture (3%).
